EXPERIENCE THE IMPOSSIBLE Museum of Illusions® Chicago

Shout out to my boy Cole for his kindness and professionalism. Took my wife for our anniversary. We had a blast. She loved the surprise. Would definitely recommend for a family night or date night. So long as you’re in good company, there is fun to be had.

This was a fun and surprising find on Google Maps. We had a UK friend over for spring break week and needed an afternoon activity.

We all had a fun time here being kids again. This place had all sorts of fun interactions and activities. I had no idea what surprises awaited in the next room. All I knew was to keep my camera ready.

We went on a weekday afternoon, and it felt a little crowded as we waiting for others to have their fun. However, we went slow enough to enjoy everything at our own pace and on our own at the end of the pack. Some families came in toward the end and helped us take pictures and shared laughs together too.

After the museum, there was a puzzle area. Of course one of our folks had to try that big puzzle table attached to the wall in the back. Soon enough, that thing had a grip on all of us for a few hours. I wanted all 3 of us to be able to say we cracked that puzzle on our own. Time ran out for our third, but a cool employee helped me purchase the puzzle for this friend. *Update for her from Tues, 3/24/26: He completed it on his plane ride the next day!

I’m happy that a tough finish met a happy end, and this will be a fun memory for us with the Museum of Illusions. I hope others enjoy this place as much as we did!

Cool experience with lots of interactive exhibits. Best if you have a couple of people to do some of the hands on but staff was helpful with picture taking.
